Sunday, Sept. 7th – THE PROFESSIONAL HARNESS DRIVERS CHALLENGE
Sponsored by the Western Maine Harness Horsemen's Association. Come watch the biggest names in harness racing from all over the US and Canada compete on one track, on one spectacular day! Scheduled to appear: Stephane Bouchard, Jason Bartlett, Walter Cheverie, Yannick Gingras, Jeff Gregory, Drew Campbell, Heath Campbell, John Mac Donald, Jordan Stratton, Brewer Adams. Get autographs, Meet the drivers! Proceeds and purse moneys donated to the Child Health Center of Oxford, Maine, helping children with disabilities through equine assistance. MAINE SUPER SIRE STAKES WEEKEND Sat. & Sun, October 11 & 12
Two days, $2.1 million in purses! Saturday: 2-year-olds take the track; Sunday it’s the 3-year-olds. Post time on both days begins at 12:30 pm. 50/50 cash raffle to benefit the MSBOA Scholarship Fund. Live National Anthem. Admission is Free. Sunday, Dec. 28 - STANDARDBRED RETIREMENT CEREMONY
Join us for a tribute to the Standardbred race horses who have reached mandatory retirement age in a moving track-side ceremony on the last day of live racing. Co-sponsored by the Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of Maine. Sunday post time: 12:30 pm. Admission is free.
