JULY
Sun., July 25th - LIVE RACING: Post time: 1:30 and features the Maine Breeders Stakes 2-year-old Colt Pacers out on the track!
AUGUST
Sat., Aug. 7th - Hambletonian Day . $1.5 million in purses! Come witness Harness racing’s biggest day, Live via simulcast from the Meadowlands. Scarborough Downs live racing Post time: 4:00 pm and features the Breeders Stakes 3YO Filly Pacers,
Sun., Aug. 8th - 6th Annual Family Fun Day – a Day of Harness Racing Education and Fun for the whole family!

- LIVE RACING Post time: 1:30 pm and features The Mildred Williams International Driving Series for Women Drivers - Come watch the ladies take the track! Raffle and driver fees donated to support the charity, Ribbons for Ribbons for breast Cancer Research. Charlie will be back with his pink ribbons on!

Sat., August 14th - The $50,000 Joseph Ricci Memorial Trot Invitational. Come see New England’s premier trotting event, in memory of the late Joe Ricci, Scarborough Downs owner and harness racing benefactor. Prize raffles and 50/50 cash raffle to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine. LIVE RACING Post time: 4:00 pm and also features Breeders Stake Races: 3-year-old Filly Pacers out on the track! We've teamed up with the US Trotting Association to get fans "Back to the track!" Enter the handicapping contest and win a trip for 2 to the Little Brown Jug in Delaware, OH. Enjoy VIP Status all day long (must download VIP pass). Stay tuned for more info!
Sat., August 28th - Travers Stakes Day. Come see America's oldest stakes race in continuous existence, live via simulcast from Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, NY. First run in 1864, it was named so in honor of William Travers, who had the Saratoga race track built the year before. LIVE RACING Post time: 4:00 pm and features Breeders Stakes Races: 2-year-old colt pacers out on the track! The Upper Club Opens at 3:00 to the public every Fri & Sat to enjoy live racing. Tellers, bar service and concessions menu available (no formal dining).
Sun., August 29th - LIVE RACING post time: 1:30 and features the Maine Breeders Stakes 3-year-old Colt Pacers out on the track!
Plus! join us for the Southern Maine Chili Cookoff here at Scarborough Downs to benefit Meals on Wheels. See the flyer (PDF). 11 am - 4 pm.

Sun., Sept. 12th - The Maine Breeders Stakes 2-Year-Old Trotting and Pacing Finals 2-year-olds take the track. Giveaways. 50/50 cash raffle to benefit the Sire Stakes Scholarship Fund. Live racing post time: 1:30 pm. Dining features a delicious Luncheon Buffet in the Downs Club (cost and menu TBA).
September 19-23rd: The Little Brown Jug live via simulcast from Delaware, Ohio!
Sun., September 26th - Trucking For Kids Convoy, 7 am - 4 pm.
September 13 - October 14 - Break for Fairs
Fri., Oct. 15 - Live racing resumes, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, 12 noon.

NOVEMBER
Fri/Sat., 5th & 6th - 27th Running of the Breeders Cup, Thoroughbred racing's most prestigious global event – currently consisting of 14 races held over two days with purses totaling $25.5 million! Join us! Live racing post time: 12 noon.
Thurs., Nov. 25th - Thanksgiving Day - Closed.
Fri., November 26th - Black Friday! Don’t want to go to the mall? We don't blame you! Come see the races instead! Free Coffee and donuts in the Lower Club. Live racing post time: 12 noon.
DECEMBER
Sun., Dec. 19th - Last day of live racing for the 2010 Season. Standardbred Retirement Ceremony sponsored by Scarborough Downs and the Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of Maine. Trackside ceremony, live National Anthem. Live racing post time: 12 noon.
Sat., Dec. 25th - Christmas Day - Closed.
