Casual yet elegant, The Downs Club at Scarborough Downs is open to the public and offers dining patrons a panoramic view of all the live harness racing action!
A unique six-tier design, the 350-seat Downs Club offers delicious, affordable dining, including prime rib, burgers, sandwiches, pasta dishes, fish and chicken dishes and even a children's menu! Each table is equipped with a color television monitor at every table for a close-up view of the live action on the track or for viewing races from premier thoroughbred and harness tracks across the US and Canada!
To add to the excitement, betting windows are located right in the dining room where friendly ticket sellers will gladly answer questions about wagering and racing.

Meet our new Exective Chef!
Scarborough Downs is pleased to introduce Robert (Bob) Dyer of Scarborough as our new Executive Chef in The Downs Club. Bob's career started with 4 years in the US Marine Corps, and then at the Cliff House as a Pantry Chef. For 16 years he learned the trade from working with various master chefs around the region. Most recently, he worked at Piper Shores and last season here at Scarborough Downs as a Line and Prep Cook. Join us in welcoming Bob and we hope you enjoy his culinary delights this year!

Looking for a restaurant that'll keep the kids happy? It's here at Scarborough Downs! Scarborough Downs is a kid- and family-friendly place.Children in the dining room receive crayons and a harness racing Activity Book. They love the puzzles and horse coloring pages! Just ask your server.
The Downs Club Hours:
We will be open approximately 1 hour before post time on each live racing day: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 3 - 9 pm (Post time is 4:15 pm) and select Sundays (for our special events - Please call 883-3022 and/or check our Special Events section of our website). And don't forget, Thursdays and Fridays we feature 2-for-1 Dining Specials - two select entrees with all the fixin's for one low price - just $26! For dining reservations call 207-883-3022.
